Live with a Guatemalan family
CVSA offers the opportunity to live with Guatemalan families, located in Ciudad Vieja, or in towns like, San Miguel Escobar, San Lorenzo el Cubo, and San Antonio Aguas Calientes which are located near the Academy. The academy also has four dorms where students also can enjoy their stay.
The students will receive 3 meals daily (vegetarian, if requested) Monday through Sunday, 7 nights of lodging in a private room, with shared bathroom, hot showers, and purified water. The homes of our families are situated in the center of towns.
Living with a family enables students to participate in family life, and gives students the opportunity to improve their Spanish and their knowledge of cultural and historical aspects of Guatemala. Host families embrace our students as one of their own. Students create life long bonds with their adopted families often staying in touch for years to come.
Price per week for each student is US$ 120.00.
